Update

 Someone just asked me for access to an old file on this blog and it reminded me I should post an update. Hopefully it won't be the last.

In 2022 my position changed from instructional tech to instructional coach. I intentionally took a big step away from a tech focus in my day to day job. 

This move was not because I changed my mind about the many benefits I highlighted on this blog over the course of 11 years. It was because of some specific things in the district where I work. 

Then in October 2024, I was asked to specialize my work even more, taking on the role of a math coach for K-8 teachers. This has brought me full circle back to the math classroom (many classrooms actually). I enjoy the change of pace quite a bit.

Unfortunately it does mean I won't have many updates on the blog. If I do make a game or stumble on a good tech related resource for math, I'll be sure to post it.
